What is Metagenics Hemagenics Iron Advanced?

Hemagenics Iron Advanced is a high-strength, highly bioavailable iron supplement designed to support healthy red blood cell production, energy metabolism, and overall vitality.

It features Meta Fe® iron bisglycinate — a chelated form of iron that’s more readily absorbed and tolerable than many traditional iron salts — combined with activated B-vitamins and folate to support effective iron utilisation and energy production.

This formula is particularly suitable for individuals with low iron levels and increased iron needs — such as menstruating women, vegetarians/vegans, pregnant or postpartum women, endurance athletes or anyone with marginal dietary iron intake.

Each capsule contains: 

  • Iron amino-acid chelate (Meta Fe® – Iron bisglycinate) 120 mg equivalent to 24 mg elemental iron
  • Calcium ascorbate dihydrate 100 mg (≈ 80 mg ascorbic acid) 
  • Co-methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12) 500 µg 
  • Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 5.0 mg 
  • Levomefolate calcium (5-Methyltetrahydrofolate) 216 µg (≈ 200 µg as 5-MTHF) 

Capsule shell: vegetable capsule (suitable for vegetarians/vegans).

Free from: dairy, gluten, soy, nuts, yeast, artificial colours & flavours and preservatives.

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
