What is Metagenics MetaRelax?

MetaRelax — formerly known as CalmX — is a practitioner-strength magnesium formula designed to calm the nervous system and ease physical and mental tension.

It combines high-absorption magnesium glycinate and glycerophosphate with taurine and activated B vitamins (B6, methylated B12 and 5-MTHF folate) to support neurotransmitter production, muscle relaxation and stress adaptation.

The formula is widely used by practitioners for individuals who experience stress, magnesium deficiency, poor sleep or muscle tightness.

Each 12.7 g dose contains:

  • MagActive® Magnesium (as magnesium glycinate) – A premium, easily absorbed form of magnesium that supports muscle relaxation, nervous system function, and helps maintain a healthy stress response.
  • Taurine – An amino acid that promotes neurotransmitter balance and assists magnesium uptake, supporting calm mood and emotional stability.

Together, these ingredients form a synergistic nutrient complex that helps the body relax, recharge, and restore during times of stress, fatigue, or tension.

It comes in 2 great-tasting formula flavours, Raspberry and Tropical flavour, both of which are sweetened with steviol glycosides.

Adults: Add 2 level scoops (12.7 g) to 200 mL of water and stir well until dissolved. Take once or twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
