These Chilli Choc Brownies are creamy and delicious with a rich chocolate flavour and a spicy finish. All natural ingredients and super easy to prepare - they will change the way you look at brownies 😍

This recipe is the magic brainchild of the brilliant Muna at @bodbalance - huge thanks to her for putting it together, if you're a fan,  go and give her a virtual Instagram high-5 when you get a chance!

Ingredients:

  • 1½ cup medjool dates
  • 3 cups oat flour (can substitute regular flour if you'd like)
  • 1½ cups milk or coconut milk for vegan
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp mollasses
  • 3 tbsp of The Bircher Bar Cayenne-5-Spice Cacao Mix
  • 3 tbsp butter or coconut oil for vegan
  • ¼ tsp cayenne (optional)
  • Pinch of salt .
Method:

Preheat oven on medium temperature. In a blender, combine dates, milk, mollasses and butter/coconut oil. Blend until dates are smooth. Mix remaining dry ingredients in a bowl and then stir through the date mixture. Pour into a greased baking tray and bake on medium heat for 25 - 30 minutes.

Simple as can be!

Take a moment this weekend to whip up batch for yourself, just make sure you've got some friends around to share with or I guarantee you'll eat them all 😊
